Brian Head Welch - Why are they Corrupt?

In times past, my reflections aligned with those of Brian Head Welch. The focal point of my contemplation rested on individuals who identified as "Christians" and exhibited a tendency to pass judgment on their fellow believers. Notably, their assertion of moral perfection since embracing Christianity raised concerns for me. I attribute a certain level of accountability to God for these individuals, positing that their judgmental attitudes could potentially estrange believers from their faith, particularly those newly initiated. Over the course of my extensive journey as a believer, spanning numerous years, I began to scrutinize my own perseverance in sin, driven by a palpable aversion to the Pharisaical and hypocritical behaviors displayed by some Christians. Despite my genuine desire to mirror God's unconditional love, I grapple with an inherent inability to do so. Consequently, I made a deliberate decision to disengage from unproductive debates and immersed myself in a rigorous study of biblical texts. The scriptures, in turn, have yielded insights into those who, in accordance with divine pronouncements, incur God's displeasure. It is noteworthy that Jesus, recognized as the ultimate healer, presents a transformative path that transcends judgment—a dimension I intend to delve into further in my forthcoming blog post or video.
